Darryl Speach Joins Greystone as Chief Customer Officer

Former Disney and New York Life Insurance Executive to Champion Customer Service Strategy
Greystone announced the appointment of Darryl Speach as Chief Customer Officer. Speach is based in the firm’s New York headquarters and reports to Claudia Schiepers, Chief Marketing Officer.
In this newly created role, Speach will lead the Greystone customer experience effort across all business lines, including commercial mortgage lending, property management and healthcare operations. With a focus on creating unparalleled standards for interacting with both internal and external customers, Speach will redefine and enhance customer experience at Greystone.

Prior to joining Greystone, Speach was Disney’s lead consultant assigned to the Disney Institute/McKinsey & Company co-branded joint venture, specializing in customer experience transformations. He led numerous client engagement teams around the globe including financial services, insurance, pharmaceutical, and automotive companies in Europe, Asia, and the United States.
Speach also spent five years as the Corporate Vice President of Innovation/Customer Insights at New York Life Insurance where he championed numerous innovation, culture change, and employee engagement initiatives, as well as the New Horizons Innovation Leadership Ideation Program. He also served as a Vice President at BI Worldwide Consulting, where he led a team who specialized in enhancing sales & channel effectiveness, employee engagement, and customer loyalty programs for several Fortune 100 companies. While in this role, the organization was awarded the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.
Speach holds an MBA from Chapman University’s Argyros School of Business and Economics and has several industry certifications from the Center for Creative Leadership. He is also an accredited deBono Six Thinking Hats parallel thinking facilitator.
