Greystone announced that Raphael Inzlicht has joined the company as Vice President of Development. Based in Greystone’s New York headquarters, Raphael reports directly to Thomas Ryan, Senior Vice President of Development.
Prior to joining Greystone, Raphael served as Project Manager at New York-based Extell Development Co. While there, he played an integral role on high-profile Manhattan projects such as One57 / Park Hyatt Hotel, Hyatt Times Square, and Cambria Suites in Midtown. He also managed the development of a residential tower in the Flatiron District for which he successfully obtained Landmarks and DOB approvals in time for the 421-A tax abatement deadline.
During his more than seven years at Extell, Raphael also built the company’s hotel development business and managed project consultants while developing plans, negotiating contracts, obtaining environmental, city and state approvals, and orchestrating the purchase and installation of FF&E and OS&E for the hotel projects. At Greystone, Raphael will be tasked with leading new ground-up construction projects in the five boroughs.
“Raphael’s experience with NYC’s Landmarks and 421-A processes will be invaluable to our growing property development team,” said Jeffrey Simpson, head of Greystone’s property development group. “As we look to tackle new challenges across the five boroughs, I know Raphael’s input and leadership will be integral to Greystone’s success in property development.”
A native of Belgium, Raphael earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Yeshiva University in New York.
